Pepkor Lifestyle is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Product Data Specialist. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring that our products are presented to customers in an appealing, accurate, and complete manner to facilitate purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research new product trends and technologies and update the Pepkor Lifestyle Product Taxonomy as needed.
• Ensure that the requirements and standards in the Pepkor Lifestyle Product Taxonomy are aligned with relevant systems.
• Monitor and audit product data to ensure compliance with the Pepkor Lifestyle Product Taxonomy.
• Support Merchandise with product-related requirements in the PIM and Adobe Commerce systems.
• Design HTML enrichment templates for new product launches in consultation with Buyers and Suppliers.
• Engage with customers in a customer-centric manner.
• Demonstrate effective self-management and teamwork.

• Knowledge:
• Knowledge and application of best practices for e-commerce and Product Information Management (PIM) platforms (preferably Akeneo PIM and Adobe Commerce).
• Knowledge and application of SAP Master Data best practice.
• Relevant experience in the retail environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Pepkor Lifestyle policies, practices, processes, and systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification: A relevant Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience.
